This pack contains 3 planting bulbs selected for gardeners who enjoy growing bold flowering plants in pots, balconies, terraces and garden spaces. Amaryllis-type bulbs develop from a fleshy storage bulb and are best planted in loose, free-draining growing media. Use a pot with drainage holes and keep the bulb neck or upper portion exposed rather than burying the entire bulb deeply. After planting, water carefully and avoid keeping the soil continuously wet, as excess moisture can increase the risk of bulb rot. Place the planted bulb where it receives suitable bright light according to local weather. As active growth develops, maintain moderate watering while allowing excess water to drain freely. The exact time required for shoots and flowers varies with bulb maturity, dormancy, cultivar, season and growing conditions. Each bulb should be inspected before planting. Firm bulbs are generally preferable to soft or damaged bulbs. For best results, plant soon after receiving the product and follow the variety-specific growing instructions supplied with the pack.
